To travel by train to Morocco

The train in Morocco is the most effective means of transport and most comfortable to visit the country. The network of Moroccan train is cheap and the majority of the tourist destinations are served. The trains connect the towns of Marrakech, Fès, Casablanca (like its airport), Rabat, Oujda, Tangier and Meknès. If you wish to join the desert, the mountains of the Atlas, Agaidr or Essaouira on the coast, you will have to travel by the bus, to rent a car or to travel by the taxi to join your destination.

You will not be able to carry out a reservation of ticket of train apart from Morocco. Once arrived, join the station of train to nearest be able to carry out your reservation. The circulation of the trains is very regular and frequent, it is not thus a problem to hold only one day in advance, for example.
If you travel from Tangier towards Marrakech and that you wish to travel by a night train (departure of Tangier to 21:05), you ensure that the berths already all are not reserved. If they are it, not panic, it remains always free places in second class, thus you will not have to spend the night to Tangier if you do not wish it.
Certain hotel personnel can be enough sympathetic nerves and hold the berths in advance to you, and the ONCF (transport company) will give you your ticket as of your arrival to the station of train. It is a situation enough embarrassing for the hotel personnel, and a financial risk if you do not present yourselves, but if you to be really stressed, you can send email in advance with your hotel, and ask what it can do for you.
