Discover the cultural richness of the department of Indre and Châtre.

The park of Brenne was formed in 1989 and recovers 166.000 hectares, that is to say almost a quarter of the department. It comprises nearly 2200 ponds according to the last observations. If you like to walk Indre then will like to you because this department does not have far from 400 circuits of walks. The paths are accessible to foot, horse and in VTT.
Many cities and villages returned celebrates Indre at the tourist level, I advise you in particular: Chateauroux and the Valley of Indre or the valley of hollow. You will discover the pretty Park of Beautiful-Isle which makes 12 ha. Many Neolithic and Gallo-Roman vestiges there still remain and are worth visiting. See also side of the town of Issoudun and the Berrichonne Champagne. It is here that Balzac wrote “Rabouilleuse”. As long as you are there, the pretty village of Lily-Saint-Georges also awaits you, do not pass to side.

The department of the Gironde, Bègles: one of the greatest departments of France.

This department carries some very old traces of human presence which one can find the demonstrations in the cave of Par-not-Par. Closer to us are the habitats of the Gallo-Roman era like the amphitheatre of the Gallien Palate of Bordeaux. The Bridges which span the Gironde all are almost inventoried like sites classified by UNESCO like the Bridge of Pierre of Bordeaux, the Bridge of Langoiran or that of Colineau with the Safe one which date from XIXè, or the Bridge of Preignac which is more recent. One of the oldest bridges is the Bridge Raymond de Croignon.
Those among you who are set on Romanesque architecture will be able to appreciate of them the vestiges in a great number of sanctuaries as in the church of the abbey of Blasimon or with Our-lady of the End of the Grounds, or in the church St Jean de Lalande de Pomerol and even in the church St Pierre with Réole. Reserve also a visit with the cathedral St Jean Baptiste of Bazas, it is worth the glance.
The amateurs of culture will be satisfied of the many museums of all styles like that of Natural history of Bordeaux but also the museum of the Automats of Pauillac or Vinoscope of the Medoc Castle in Maucaillou; and if you still have curiosity visit the museum of the Horse with Cussac Fort Medoc.

Amsterdam - Maastricht: To visit the coffeeshops?

Change destination rather!
Although the town of Amsterdam is indeed the zone where the most coffeeshops concentrates (nearly 300, that is to say more than one third of the Dutch coffeeshops), we recommend to you not to go there…
Indeed, small the coffees is good only has to attract the tourists. Enticing decoration, background music and temptation to taste best grass of the world… All are calculated to allure you and to oblige you to buy. But you do not astonish if you outside are thrown once your purchase accomplished. It is hardly habit among Dutch to settle in a coffeeshop to smoke coldly acquired grass. Dutch smokes on their premises. Especially in Amsterdam, where the customers of the cannabis are really very important.
Moreover, the prices are at the very least pushing back… One will well quickly regret a purchase in Amsterdam. Quality strongly being able to vary from one coffeeshop to another and period to another… One seldom falls on grass to less than 10 €.

A hotel in Montreal: which district to choose?

A European correspondent asked me lately if it were possible to make a stay in a hotel of Montreal without having to spend a fortune while having comfort necessary for a pleasant voyage. Doubtless. It is necessary to take account of two things: hotel establishment that you will attend and the district in which it is.
Firstly, which type of establishment will you choose? If your goal is to make a pleasant stay without you ruin, put side immediately the international large chains of hotels. Admittedly you are ensured to find there all comfort required, but also to spend a price which is not really justified. One can as many find services and of comfort in hotels of less fame. That they are small hotels, inns or of Bed and Beakfast, one can place oneself there very comfortably, often at a price half less low than in a large international hotel.

To find a hotel in Montreal.

Is it possible to find a hotel room in Montreal which at the same time inexpensive and is located in one of the most interesting districts of this French-speaking metropolis of America? Certainly. It is initially necessary to specify which are the most attractive districts of Montreal for tourism.
It goes without saying that in such a wide city, all the districts do not have the same advantages. Certain places of the city constitute strictly industrial zones, loins centers of interests principal and even far away from the joint grid systems, while other districts are purely residential. Hotel establishments there are certainly found but they are to be avoided completely. However the universality of the Internet makes it possible these hotels to easily arise to the badly informed researcher who does not know well the urban geography and which is likely to be in a hotel room in Montreal, certainly inexpensive, but far from the heart living of the metropolis.

Montreal for all

Any person who wishes to visit a foreign city as Montreal must get information well beforehand in order to plan her stay as well as possible. How long our stay will last? Which places will we visit? Which type of voyage do we wish to realize? A strictly tourist voyage? A tour of adventure? A diving in urban environment within a population grouillante which one does wish to know? And especially, at which place to live? To find a place of lodging requires a good planning in order to avoid bad surprise, a stay less pleasant than dreamed and costs really too high. How to find a hotel room in Montreal whereas this city is not known and that the various tourist guides seem quite formal and give too general information?
All the districts of such a wide city are not necessarily advised with the tourists. Certain places which are not that residential are frankly deprived of interest or charm. Others are really too far away from the centers of activity.
